Solace provides Consulting and support through out Palliative Care and end of life. This will help the grieving process having a consulting on hand will allow for more time with family. We believe one should pass away the way they want to. Understanding the process of dying, will prepare family members for the next steps. Our services are provided through telephone consulting, video consulting, and in home consulting.

Palliative care can take place in different settings, including the patient’s home, residential hospices (home-like facilities for people with a terminal illness), long-term care facilities and hospitals.

Support your family and those you care for while you are dying and afterward.
Helps the person live as fully and comfortably as possible, to the end of their life,

Educate and address physical concerns such as pain, nausea, shortness of breath, and emotional, and social concerns of the person and their family.
Respects and helps to honour the person’s culture and traditions.
Assist the person – and their family – to make important decisions about their health and treatment and share those decisions.
Provide grief support for the family after the death.

Gather the Family package allows for the entire family to come together with Solace. We will discuss the role of each family member, and how they can be a value contributor to their loved one.

Death is profoundly personal. During our one on one time your wishes will be heard, and passed on to your family members to allow your wants to come to fruition.

COMMON QUESTIONS

How far in advanced is SOLACE Booking?

Solace requires 48hrs for booking appointments. Solace is available for both day and evening appointments. This allows flexibility for family members to coordinate availability.

What is the cost of your service?

Please contact us for additional questions regarding our pricing listed above or for video/zoom conference pricing.

How Far will you travel for consultations?

Solace is currently serving Simcoe Muskoka, Kawartha, Durham and GTA Area. Solace will travel to areas of Ontario with additional travel fees, 50Km outside of Barrie. (Travel prices will vary related to distance).

Is your service covered by OHIP?

Solace is a private consulting service. Prices were created to be affordable. Solace is not covered by OHIP.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! Solace offers payment plans. Solace will require a down payment prior to initiating services.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Solace accepts Visa, E-Transfer and cash.
