Karlene believes everyone deserves to pass in the way they choose. By understanding the process of dying, families can feel more prepared, more connected, and less overwhelmed.  Solace offers flexible consulting services by phone, video, or in-home visits ensuring support is always within reach.

Palliative care can take place in different settings, including the patient’s home, residential hospices (home-like facilities for people with a terminal illness), long-term care facilities and hospitals.

Gather the Family package allows for the entire family to come together with Solace.  We will discuss the role of each family member, and how they can be a value contributor to their loved one.

In Home one on one consultation about End of Life Care Wishes.

Death is profoundly personal.  During our one on one time your wishes will be heard, and passed on to your family members to allow your wants to come to fruition.

Whether it is passing away at home, in hospice, or a hospital setting.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Solace requires 48hrs for booking appointments. Solace is available for both day and evening appointments. This allows flexibility for family members to coordinate availability.

Solace is currently serving Simcoe Muskoka, Kawartha, Durham and GTA Area.  Solace will travel to areas of Ontario with additional travel fees, 50Km outside of Barrie. (Travel prices will vary related to distance).

Solace is a private consulting service. Prices were created to be affordable. Solace is not covered by OHIP.

Yes! Solace offers payment plans. Solace will require a down payment prior to initiating services.
